    what & how Sendai Aoba Castle will look like IF it survives the WW2….

    so yes, unfortunately, this awesome n beautiful town-castle which was built by Date Masamune back in early 1600, was totally destroyed during WW2, just like many other castles at other regions of Jpn which suffered the same fate…..

    & thus, u are only barely able to see a very very small portion of the castle now (the remaining of the castle’s outer most wall, for ex.); while all the buildings &/or everything u see on this photo set, were gone, no more, nothing left, at. all!

    i personally scanned all these from my books/postcards/whatever that i’ve bought from the castle’s museum; & srsly, just look at how beautiful those rooms were!! wish i can see those IRL & not through CG piccy ;A; d’mn u ww2
